On November 29 to December 1, 2013, the Moscow School of Management hosted a course on the financing of equity and innovative projects for students and graduates of the SKOLKOVO EMBA and MBA programs with the participation of the lecturer Andreas Angelopoulos, a teacher at the Said Business School and the Executive Director of the Institute of Direct Investments at Oxford University, and Associate Professor of Business School at Booth University of Chicago.
The course was held with the support of NAIMA. Participants considered investing in the development of existing business as one of the types of equity financing, and also discussed the main problems faced by investors, managers, entrepreneurs or shareholders in the negotiation phase. In addition, reports were presented on the exit strategy, competition in the venture and direct investment market, and the role of consultants in the negotiation and decision-making process.
In addition to lecturer Andreas Angelopoulos, the program included speeches by Igor Artemenko, founder and CEO of SeoPult, Gleb Daviduk, managing partner of iTech Capital, Valery Krivenko, managing partner of the FPI Innovation Fund, Ruben Harutyunyan, President of Henderson, Elena Gusakova, Director of Althaus, and others.
