On April 10 and 11, the Russian Venture Forum - one of the largest events in the field of finance and investment took place in Kazan.
For 10 years the event has been the largest international platform for discussions and negotiations, as well as a meeting place for Russian and foreign participants in the venture capital industry.
This year the event brought together 1120 speakers: 850 investors from Russia and more than 30 foreign countries, 649 exhibiting companies. Over 18,000 participants from 70 cities of Russia and 30 foreign countries from around the world took part in this large-scale event.
Alexander Pankov, member of the NAIMA board of directors, moderated a panel discussion on corporate conflicts, “Corporate Conflicts: Risks for Institutional Investors”.
Among other things, the topic of the high-profile case of Baring Vostok Capital Partners was discussed.
“I think that during the entire existence of the Forum, it has already established itself as a meeting place for representatives of various structures, business and government, where there is an opportunity not only to discuss industry challenges, but also to work out solutions for its maintenance and development. There is as well an opportunity to present innovative projects at the exhibition. I always take part in this event with a great pleasure and try to contribute to the common cause”, - Alexander shared.
