NAIMA’s Hedge Fund Committee meeting took place on April 6. During the on-line meeting, the members of the Committee discussed a number of important issues. First, the Committee approved this year’s winners of the Russian Hedge Fund Industry Awards. The Committee unanimously approved the candidacy of Evgenya Sluchak, Founder and Director of EPFC Asset Management, to join the NAIMA Hedge Fund Committee. Evgenya replaced her colleague George Ivanyan on this Committee. The members of the Committee also discussed the possibility of changing the name of the annual Russian Hedge Fund Industry Awards into a more geographically “inclusive” name, for example, Eastern Europe Hedge Fund Industry Awards. The members of the Committee actively discussed this proposal, but could not come to a consensus and the name of the Award remains the same. In addition, the Committee approved some amendments to the Disclosure statement.
