The quarterly Hedge Fund Fundamentals course took place in Moscow on September 19-20, 2018. The Course was developed by Europe Finance (NAIMA member) and intended for professionals who plan to understand and/or work in the asset management industry. As always, Georgy Ivanyan, Managing Director of EuropeFinance, was the lead course instructor and Michael Boboshko, Chairman of the Hedge Fund Committee of NAIMA shared his knowledge in the field of hedge fund organization, as well as the hedge fund industry in general. During this course Gerald Autier of Audacis Advisors was a guest speaker on hedge fund marketing.
The goal of the course is to obtain basic knowledge of the business model of hedge funds, the features of opening investment structures, basic tools and investment strategies, as well as the principles of assessing the results of hedge funds.
The main audience of the course are asset managers, traders, professional investors, representatives of private banking / wealth management, as well as specialists who plan to work in the asset management industry in various positions: analyst, trader, risk manager, investment consultant, etc.
